THREE HOME VICTORIES AT THE START
On Tuesday evening, the World Climbing Series Innsbruck 2026 made the first decisions.
In the para-climbing final, Austria’s climbing aces showed a big show in the well-stocked open-air arena at the area of the Innsbruck climbing center: The KVÖ team cheered over three home victories and two more podium places.

In class B2, Linda Le Bon cheered her fifth World Cup victory. The 61-year-old won a dramatic final with 46+ grips ahead of the German Luisa Grube, who climbed the same way in the final, due to the better qualifying result. Quali winner Seneida Biendarra (USA) was third with 46 stricks, Edith Scheinecker fourth with 39 stricks.
“This victory is incredible. Climbing and winning in front of a local audience makes the whole thing even more special. After Salt Lake City, where everything went wrong, everything just fit together perfectly today. It was a dream day,” said Le Bon, whose main goal is to participate in the Paralympics in Los Angeles. The native Belgian already started in Beijing 2022 at the Paralympic Winter Games for her motherland in para-skiing. “Los Angeles is my big goal, after that maybe you can slowly think about the climbing board.”
