Three victories, a second place and a premiere on the podium – the Austrian paraclimbing team says goodbye to the World Cup season 2025 with a big exclamation mark.
In the final in Laval, France, Jasmin Plank (RP2), Angelino Zeller (AL1) and Linda Le Bon (B2), Markus Pösendorfer (AL1) climbed to second place and Daniel Wiener (RP2) celebrated his first World Cup medal with third place.

A real thriller took place in the B2 final. Linda Le Bon and Luisa Grube (GER) both reached 54+ grips – in the end time decided. The Austrian was five seconds faster and cheered over an emotional victory at the end.
“That was a heartbeat final, which was already apparent after the qualification. “The quali routes were a bit too easy, I would have liked a result earlier. The final route was all the more beautiful – and despite illness, I am glad that I have come this far. And Elch (Note: Patrik Törnström), my guide, did a great job again. Now I am relieved that the long season is over, give myself a three-week break and then start full throttle in the preparation for the next season,” the vice-world champion was satisfied.
